Deep Space
A retro style space shooting game where you gun down invaders and protect your planet.
Only 5 levels currently.
(I have violated a little bit of jam rules. :)))
Controls:
Arrow keys --> move
Space --> fire
A --> shield
Z --> skip dialogues

My goodness, the art in this is absolutely amazing! I can't believe this was all done in the jam, you sir have a lot of talent! It was a tad hard to see incoming shots, but other than that, so much right with this game. The overheat indication, the shield recharge, the loading animation, all so perfect!

Visually this is stunning. All the assets look very polished and the extra things like screen shake and BG/FG parallax really enhance the look and feel of the game. Really nice work.
